Simply add each one as a source in Settings | Sources. You can then report across all SonicWALL devices via the Dashboard, Reports and Alerts features.
If you would like to report or create an alert for single SonicWALL, such as a customer's site or branch office, you can apply a filter to your reports and alerts using either the Firewall Server Name or Firewall Server IP fields.
You can easily schedule these reports by clicking the Schedule Report button (next to Run Report) after specifying the filter, and send the scheduled reports to the appropriate people.
To lock down access to just the reports that have been shared, please see our article on setting up Private Report Sharing (Note: this article relates to Fastvue Sophos Reporter, but the steps are exactly the same for Fastvue Reporter for SonicWALL).
If you would like to deploy Fastvue Reporter for multiple customers using SonicWALL, please see our article on Deployment for Managed Service Providers.
SonicWALL Global Management System (GMS) Devices
If you configure two or more SonicWALL devices using SonicWALL Global Management System (GMS), you will still need to add each individual SonicWALL as a source in Settings | Sources.
Do NOT add the SonicWALL GMS server as a source.
Although there is an option to forward syslog traffic to another server in SonicWALL GMS, this is only for log events on the GMS server itself. Not the individual SonicWALL devices.
To get the full picture of web and network traffic, you need to monitor each individual SonicWALL Server directly.
When purchasing Fastvue Reporter for SonicWALL, you are required to enter the number of SonicWALL devices you intend to monitor. You will receive a separate license key for each SonicWALL device, which you enter in Settings | Licensing.
If you add more SonicWALL sources in Settings | Sources than the number of license keys entered in Settings | Licensing, you will see an error in Settings | Sources informing you of the licensing issue, and no data will be imported from the additional sources.
Issues or Questions?
If you are having issues monitoring multiple SonicWALL devices, please go through the checklist for each one, or contact Fastvue Support.
